Problems with Arlo portal site, new system setup fails to detect my R7000. it worked before, I just wanted to setup my Arlo Camera on the Arlo portal site but now it doesn't detect my Router.

New System Setup -> Select to add Arlo (Router) ......discovering your device.......(long wait)......Arlo WIFI Troubleshooting message.

Troubleshooting, no help there everything is connected. I can see the device icon and MAC address on the Router Arlo Page.

Logging into Arlo Portal site is the same when adding a device.

Sal.

Sorry, didn't check back to see you already said R7000. What firmware are you running? Everything after 1.4.30 has been removed from support downloads due to bugs. You may want to wait for an official release so things work well again. You could try a factory reset on the router to see if that allows Arlo to work properly. Of course that means setting up WiFi, etc. again.

The latest one, the router tells me when there is an update and I regurlarly check if there is any updates.

Factory reset again ? I try again.

App or browser?  The app has to be on the same network as your router/base station for initial setup.  Many find using a browser easier to work with for setup.  If you're using WiFi for the app or already using a browser and this is happening, try a factory reset on the base by pressing the reset button on the base until the LEDs flash amber.

Browser...I don't have the base I am using the R7000 router.

I think the router is blocking any info coming thru (incoming data from host), I tried to turn off firewalls in windows and router.

Ports 80 and 443 failed or offline if I turn on port 80 (HTTP) on Router, I don't think I have any servers running.

Sa9aX11,

I see you have marked this thread as solved. Were you able to detect and setup your R7000?

What's the specific firmware version installed in the router? If its not an appropriate version its not arlo- compatible. I have a beta version loaded, 1.0.6.40.

I have firmware V1.0.5.64_1.1.88 on my R7000 Router.

Someone told me the latest R7000 firmware doesn't support Arlo, probably that why the Arlo Web portal is not sensing my R7000 Router, but I think it should sense it even if doesn't have Arlo Support.

I've unofficially confirmed that the latest production firmware for the R7000 (1.0.5.64) does NOT support Arlo. Without that support, the wireless cameras have nothing to connect to and won't be found by the app or web page.  The latest firmware that support Arlo (1.0.6.40) can be found here:

You should factory reset the router, install the firmware and maybe factory reset again.  Arlo should be available then.
