Hello-
2 months ago I started with 1 Arlo base stationand 4 arlo wire free cameras. All was good - the base station was easily identafiable and the cameras worked great.
I decided to add another 4 cameras and bought another kit with an additional base station - I then had one base station on my upstairs router and one base station plugged into my downstairs extender. Again - all worked well, no issues.
Later, I added another 7 cameras to max out an elite subscription plan. I added a third base station with this and placed it under shelter outside on an Apple airport that I have used out side for a long time.
This is when I started noticing problems - the cameras added to the third base station would intermittently not be available or only be seen on my mobile device but not my laptop or desktop. I could not find a way to get the camera to show up on the laptop or desktop despite a few winks of tinkering or troubleshooting.
At this point, I also realized that if my range allowed it, I would be able to put all 15 cameras on one base station (and I do have great wireless signal even outside and with no extenders on from my upstairs router). Thus, I decided to try and move all of the cameras to one router for simplicity and to solve the problem with the third router.
Last week, I initiated this change. I was able to sync 14/15 of my cameras with the router but could not get the 15th camera to sync. I thought this might be a camera issue. However, the other 14 cameras were working so I thought I had, perhaps, solved the issues.
This week, the situation took a turn for the worse - I could no longer access the settings section of my base station to change the recording schedule - the site would just hang when clicking on the base station and never load. I tried a number of approaches to solve this - resetting router and base station etc - to no avail.
Yesterday, I thought maybe this was the base station from outside and it was perhaps a faulty base station and that was what was leading to my problems with the outdoor cameras earlier. Alternatively, I thought, perhaps I have overloaded the memory/function with 15 cameras on one station. So, I deleted the base station and tried to re-add the station. However, I could not get the base station to be recognized when doing add device or trying a new system setup. Today, I went through the process of resetting router, base station, etc but this did not work.
Finally, I tried to get each of my other two base stations to show up but neither is found when using the set up features on teh Arlo site. I have the base station right behind me and it is plugged into my router which is generating great internet signal and working well .
At this point, I have a bucket next to me of 15 essentially useless Arlo cameras, 3 useless base stations and almost $2000 in equipment that is not functional.
Does anyone have any troubleshooting advice or ideas regarding the underlying issue? Thank you!

It would seem that you should have the latest firmware so a reset only uses the reset button, while the older versions required using the Sync button, too. When resetting, do you get the base LEDs all flashing amber after maybe 10 seconds? If so, wait until you get a green power LED and then connect to the router. Does the Internet LED turn green? That should signal a connection to the servers. If amber, does the router show an IP address for the base? If not, something's wrong with the base, cable or router connection. Have you updated the router firmware recently or changed some security settings in it? Lotsa possibilities - let us know what's up with this part.
