Are VMS3230 base station and VMC4030-100NAR PRO camera compatible?

I purchased the VMS3230 base station but didn't realize they don't support audio. If I purchase camera model VMC4030-100NAR PRO which does support audio, will it connect to the base station?

You should be able to hook the Pro camera to the 3000 model base... tho I would recommend the 4000 base the Pro originally came with and then move you older cameras to it.

The 4000 base is faster and has more options like a siren and usb backup for videos.

 

As a sidenote, you can have multi bases without any charge and this would allow a schedule on each base ( all in visible in same program ).... I use two bases to split the front yard from back .
