Adding Arlo Q to current system

When adding a Arlo Q to my current system with the no charge program option. When I get to the end of the installation process my credit card information is requested. Why and do I need to complete this for adding the device. It would be only the 4th camera on the system when installed.

It shouldn't as you are allowed 5 cameras on the Basic level...

Are you sure it's not for one of the Q cameras options , like the CVR?

Any way the only ones that prob can help you would be Netgear Support
