I have 2 wired floodlight cameras that are about 20' apart facing 90 degrees apart. On one of them this summer the lights, just the lights not the camera, have been coming on more and more frequently most nights, but not all, until this evening and now they are just on and I have to deactivate it in the app to get them to turn off. Every time I reenable it they automatically come back on. I have changed everything I can to get them to stop coming on but nothing has worked. There are no moving bushes or spider webs or flags or any other motion causing them to come on. It seemed like when I armed the cameras at bed time the lights quit coming on, of course when I am asleep I can't really see if they are on or not. Arming the cameras has not worked tonight.
The other floodlight camera is not doing this and is working correctly.
Has anyone else had this issue?

Yes I am having this exact same issue. I’m not sure if a bug is setting off the light sensor but not the motion capture or what but I’ve turned sensitivity all the way down and I’m still seeing this issue constantly once it gets dark. I’ve even tried turning the armed light off thinking that’s attracting bugs but it hasn’t fixed the issue. Extremely frustrating to deal with.

Thanks for the feedback on this, I am inquiring with the team regarding this spotlight turning on randomly. I will provide more info when I have more to share.

Are you stating that when you turn on the camera, the flood light just automatically stays on until you disable it manually in the settings? Or are you referencing possible motion detection?
Can you confirm if this issue is occurring with your driveway floodlight? I noticed its motion sensitivity is set to 100%, compared to 40% on your garage floodlight. If so, please try lowering the sensitivity to 0 and gradually increasing it to your desired level to see if this resolves the issue.

@Thumpert I see you are at 30% sensitivity. Can you try lowering to 0 and gradually increase it as well for trouble shooting to see if this help?

I'm having this same exact issue and it's driving me insane. I have tried changing everything, resetting my app, resetting the camera, and the problem still persists. The light does not seem to be activated by motion, it's like it is manually turning itself on. The app will not save my manual light settings either. I change them to 1 minute or change the light brightness to 20%, but then the app will immediately change the settings to something else and continue turning on. I have a screen recording showing the manual light control in the app turning itself on multiple times within the span of a few minutes.

It is on almost constantly once it gets dark enough for the light to come on until I turn it off. It does turn off but almost immediately comes back on. At this time it is only the garage light that is doing this. I have turned it down myself to try to stop this from happening but it is still doing it most of the time after dark. I can try turning it down and back up but I want it at 100% to keep the scumbag trash out of my back yard not 0% to try to stop the light from coming on.

This is great. You buy a security camera/light and you have to turn it ALL THE WAY DOWN so it is completely ineffective or else the light is on all the time so now your security camera/light is a security decoration on the side of your building. I can not even turn it up to 10 out of 100 or else the light is on all the time. I could have just bought a bunch of fake cameras to hang around my house and saved a bunch of money. God knows that they would work just as well as arlo.

Have you tried changing the Ambient Light Sensitivity in the camera's Default Mode Settings?
