wired video doorbell isn’t working anymore. No led status

Dear all,

 

I have something strange.

I did install my Wired Essential Video doorbell but find out that my brand new wired chime 24VAC wasn’t working. Video and push notification was working.

So I find out that the traditional value in the settings was on no trad chime installed.

I didnt find a solution in the support so I tried to start over again.

 

First I did a checkup of the attached wires of the chime and start over to connect them.

Then I like to start again installing a new doorbell in the menu.

When I did finish it Is saw a quick white led light on the door bell but didnt start flashing.

I can install him anymore.

I assume he gets power if his white led was quick on.

Cant go further , checked the Arlo trafo and he is giving off course power.

So I really don’t don’t how going further.

I hope its not broken or something. 

Love to have support here.

Dear all it worked finally

All wires and connections again checked redone .
Improved wires connected with camera .
Checked chime and voltage checked.
Reset the camera with pin
And started over again
Then amber white led.
Waited a half hr
White led burning
App use for add device and finallly barcode went directly good and camera was connected with the app.
Choosing Chime Mech and test went good.
All good and working now.
Thx all for helping.

To start over you need to remove the doorbell from your account - did you? Did you try the reset procedure?

Hi Guru,

 

I did removed him form my account and I saw now , took some time that the doorbell is flashing white.

In the docu it says that the synch button was pushed but cant access the right 2.4 GHz WiFi

I cant get him recognized. The first time I had same problems . iPhone didt work but IPad suddenly saw him.

But now same IPhone or IPad didnt see him and cant connect.

 

Is there other way start over?

Unfortunately you have to use the app on a mobile device.

 

Can you (temporarily) disable 5 ghz wifi in your router?  That will force your iPhone and iPad to connect to your 2.4 ghz wifi.
