questions about calls

Does anyone know if on the Arlo Video Doorbell if you can just ignore the call when someone presses the button and the call will time out like a regular cell phone call? I  read that it does not.  This would be a deal breaker if you cannot.

I never use the phone to answer the doorbell press. It times out in about 15-20 seconds, much like an ignored phone call does.
