I've tried repeatedly to connect my doorbell camera with the our new wifi. When I hold the re-set button down, I get the blinking lights, but I don't get a chime when I try to scan the QR code. I've tried all their troubleshooting and am ready to scrap it. Very frustrating!

cmp1,
Make sure the battery is completely charged and then try factory resetting and re-onboarding the doorbell as described here: https://kb.arlo.com/000062346/How-do-I-reset-my-Arlo-Essential-Video-Doorbell

Thank you. We have taken all those steps. (Except for charging batteries, as it is wired.) The camera doesn't pick up the QR code. We can never get a chime to indicate that it has read it.

The QR code can be problematic to get read. Sometimes you can enlarge the code to be more easily read or even take a screenshot of it and print it out larger. However, it may just be a faulty device in which case use of Settings, Support is the way to start a possible replacement.
