Wiring to 110V advise

Just looking for advice in wiring ARLO Essential in Colombia

It appears that there is 110V at the doorbell itself (same power that goes to wall outlets etc and connected via main panel) and has a NICO PRPC2 style doorbell chime.

Can I plug the ARLO directly to the 110V?   Seems to say 16-24V everywhere online.. unsure whether this will be problematic?

No.

I don't know for sure .what you mean by "NICO PRCP2 style".  So I am assuming you really mean "NICO PRCP2", and not something else.

With this assumption - if you are measuring 110v at the doorbell, then you haven't wired the PRCP2 correctly. The voltage there should be 20v, with 12 va power.  See the output voltage/power in this comparison:

So if installed correctly, the PRCP2 should be compatible with the Arlo Doorbells.

After you resolve the voltage issue, note that the installation instructions for the PRCP2 say NOT to use the power kit with the AVD1001.  (Other Arlo doorbell models don't use a power kit).
