Wired Video Doorbell Cam from previous owner

The previous owner left the arlo wired video doorbell cam. I decided to keep it since its connected to a chimer and the chimer works if we press the doorbell. I tried to do a factory reset and tried to connect to the doorbell with my account. My phone cant seems to find the arlo device. Any idea why? Can I call someone in arlo support who can walk me through the process so that I can connect to this device?

It may not be connecting if it is still attached to the previous owners account. They would need to remove it from their account, then you do a factory reset of the doorbell, and the last step would be onboarding it.
