Does the Arlo Wired Video Doorbell offer end-to-end encryption? We will have Arlo Protect with the extra features. Are there any features that are lost with this encryption? Is encryption automatic or is it optional? Thanks!

The link from Arlo cameras to the cloud is encrypted (and furthermore, the cameras won't connect to a non-secure wifi network).  Similarly the link from the cloud to the app and web browser is secured.  Arlo hasn't said whether the videos stored in the cloud storage are encrypted or not.

But the Arlo cloud itself is able to decrypt and analyze the videos.  Otherwise the smart classifications and activity zone processing wouldn't work.

Not sure what encryption arlo has in place if any.

That said the camera feed is protected by the wifi encryption system and if it is connected to a Base station it is further protected by a closed wifi network.
