What are the specs for the doorbell wiring and transformer? The website mentions using wiring for an existing doorbell, but I have new construction and need to put in the wire. Also a chime or audio notification for inside the house as well as cellphone notification.

It's just typical doorbell wiring and transformer that supplies 16-24 volts. Nothing fancy.
You can use most any chime (apparently Ring has a compatibility document that works for Arlo, too) or you could use just the Arlo chime(s) which plug into an outlet.
You could also consider the wireless doorbell which does not require wiring (but will use it to keep the battery charged).
