I am about to invest in a different video doorbell system. I've had it.
For the second time (maybe third?) my doorbell failed to record a person at the door. This time, regrettably, was the time an Amazon package was taken from or front porch.
It's like magic! I have the video of the delivery. I have subsequent videos of, well, nothing really. The package is visible for 36 hrs or so (we were out of town) until the last video of the day on 25 Nov. The first video of the next day shows the package gone! Nothing in between. No video from 3:47pm Friday until 12:27 pm Saturday. Not even a neighborhood cat walking by.
Arlo has been a real disappointment. I keep trying to adjust the app to restrict the camera's viewpoint but it still activates when a person walks by with their dog on a sidewalk that's 40 feet from the door. Or it activates for no discernible reason.
