I have motion detection on and it is supposed to record when it detects and alert me but it does not do that. Only time I am alerted is if someone rings the door bell. Can anyone help?

Having the same issue. I receive the notification that there is motion but it doesn’t record when armed, only if the button is pressed does video record.

All appears to be working now, although it missed two package deliveries my other cameras picked up. Strange.
