I am installing an Arlo Wired Video Doorbell and it’s not connecting to my WiFi.

I am on fiber and only has 5ghz, but the instructions indicate that the network should be 2.4ghz

Is this why it isn’t connecting and what should I do?

Are you sure?  Almost all 5 ghz routers also provide 2.4 ghz.  What manufacturer/model is the router???

Which device are you experiencing this with? May I ask which troubleshooting steps you have tried so far? I don't want to suggest anything you have previously performed.

i have the same problem.  I contacted support by chat and was told to see me router tech!!!  I have a up to date router and its fast and has no issues.

I am completely disappointed in the chat help and should have looked at the comments by others before I ordered this thing.  I am 2 hours into trying to fix something that is out of date the day it arrived at my house.

Hi @Sparty1976

Is this the first time trying to install the doorbell?
