Delamination

I paid extra for what i thought was a well built wired video doorbell.

It's been running less than 2 years and the upper panel (covering camera) has deliminated and is flapping in the wind. Going to try superglue to reattach.

So, if you live where the sun shines on the doorbell look for something else if you need a reliable device.

Can you post a photo?

There is a film covering the camera when the camera is shipped, but it is supposed to be removed.

I tried gluing it back together with no luck. The 1/32 " panel covering the lens had fallen off, exposing the electronic components.

Looks like the adhesive specified did not have a sufficienty high melting temperature

No photo.
