When someone rings my Arlo video camera, I want to know which is ringing before I decide to answer or not. On the app, when someone does ring, I get a notification on my phone but can't see who is there. This defeats the whole purpose of a video doorbell.
Once you answer the call, you should see a live feed from the doorbell. Upon answering the call, the microphone is muted by default, so there is no indication to the person at the door until you unmute and start speaking.
We like the live feed when we answer a call. But we want to screen the call so that we can determine if we want to answer or not. So we want the live feed on the call notification so that we can choose to answer or not just like caller ID on phones. I know who is calling my phone and I can answer or send them to voicemail. Let's do the same on the Arlo! Great product, greater potential.
