I don't have a wired doorbell, but I have a 24Vac doorbell transformer. Can I just hook up the Video Doorbell directly to the transformer without using the power kit and without a regular wired doorbell? Will the video doorbell short-circuit the transformer when pushed?

@vaulthigh Yes, at the end of onboarding or in Device Settings, you can select "None" as your Traditional Chime. With this setting, the doorbell won't close the circuit when the doorbell button is pressed.
