What is going on here? Install went fine and now this?!?!

Power cycle the doorbell by deenergizing the transformer or by popping the door bell off and remove and reconnect one of the wires.

Adding to what jguerdat suggests above, this could be due to poor signal strength to your doorbell. How far away is your router?
