We bought our Arlo doorbell back when you had to have one "primary" account and anyone else that wanted the app had to be given "granted access" and could not share login on two phones/devices.  I have heard that they have gone away with that.  We just recently bought the yearly Arlo Secure subscription, but accidently bought it under the "granted access" account, not primary.  We were told today that only the primary can purchase the subscription.  We are also told that because it the yearly subscription, we can't cancel on the "granted access" account for a refund.  Otherwise, I would just do that and buy on our Primary.  Ugh, anyone else with this problem?  My head hurts....

What you can do is remove the doorbell from the primary account, and reinstall it in the "Friend" account.  PITA, but you won't lose the subscription money.
