I own a 3550 hub with a doorbell camera, pro4 camera and 3 pro 2 cameras. I also have a cloud subscription.
Is there a better hub so I connect all to the hub and do local recordings and have better reception? Right now the doorbell camera goes direct to he cloud.
Thank you.

The doorbell (and all your other cameras) are compatible with VMB4000 and the VMB4500 base stations, and also the two smarthubs (VMB4540 and VMB5000). The smarthubs support the direct access to local storage feature, so you could see the locally stored videos in the app. (There are several limitations with that feature, so IMO you should still keep the subscription).
Bases are scarce, and often overpriced at the moment - so one option is to wait for prices to come down before you purchase.
