I installed a new router and when I want to add the doorbell to the new network I'm told to completely reset it as if it was new, remove it from my account and add it as a new doorbell. Does that mean I'll lose all my stored videos in the cloud? I don't have a base station. Why is this so arduous? Shouldn't I just be able to point it to a new network in the app?

Mine is connected to my hub so can't test but some cameras have the choice to change WiFi networks in their settings. Have you tried clicking on the WiFi section to see if that gets you anyplace? If not, use of the same SSID and password wouldn't require any change in the doorbell settings.

This is the message I get when I try to do that. Maybe because I don't have a hub, but I don't know why that would make a difference. The Arlo help section says in addition to this, you must remove it from the account t and add it as a new device. But thanks for the reply.
