Looks like they need to update this page to explain that you need a subscription for doorbell recordings:

I would assume if it's the same as the competition, then any "cloud" recordings will be inaccessible and erased since you will no longer be able to record to "cloud" storage without paying money. But maybe they will let you access old recordings for a limited amount of time, depends on their Terms of Service.
If you're recording locally to a Smart Hub or Base Station (not sending to "cloud" storage) to an external USB drive or microSD card then nothing changes. You should still be able to record and access new and old videos.
