Mute when ringing

Is it possible to mute, or at least turn down the volume on the phone when the doorbell is pressed?

If I am in the office and my wife is home, the doorbell is pressed and rings on both our devices. The ringer is so loud and cannot be muted/volume down while it's ringing. Especially annoying if I'm in a meeting.

The only way it can be stopped is to answer/reject the call which I don't want to do since my wife is at home and should have the opportunity to answer.

Please advise, or allow to be muted like phone calls when ringing.
