Is my ancient doorbell compatible with the Arlo video doorbell?

I have this ancient doorbell (see attached picture) in my house and wanted to know if people think it would work with the Arlo video doorbell.

does it use 16 to 24v AC from a transformer?

Not sure, I haven't cracked it open yet. Was trying to make sure I'd have a chance of making it work before proceeding. What would work better, 16V or 24V?
