I have an essential wired doorbell and there are no lights lit on button.

I tried installing my doorbell and at first I had white and amber blinking lights and then they went out and there are no lights now, even if I push the button.

The internal battery may be dead so leave it connected to the wires for an hour and try again. Also be sure that your doorbell transformer in the house is of the proper specs as listed.  If all that checks out, try resetting the doorbell:
