We initially set up the wired doorbell using my son's phone. This was because we assumed that we all could connect to the doorbell from our phones. However, ARLO has implemented a "sharing" mechanisms that makes multiuser access to the doorbell extremely difficult.

None of us could receive calls except him. Is there a way to set it up so all or at least some users besides him can? The responses I found do not work. There are no privileges that can be granted that enable this.

We deleted the device from my son's phone, but he still receives the calls. The device is not showing on other devices but the videos are!.

Is there a way to reset the doorbell so we can set it up in the one device that we want as main? Clearly ARLO has not figured out how to support multiple users on the same doorbell.

manolo_winchest,

It sounds like you may have not completed or are not following the correct process to share the doorbell.

To share devices, the Grant Access feature needs to be used and a new account needs to be set up on all secondary devices. For more information on how this is done, see here: https://kb.arlo.com/000039122/How-do-I-add-friends-on-my-Arlo-Secure-app

If you would like to change the primary account, you must first remove the device from the account it's currently synced to, factory reset, and then onboard on the desired account. To factory reset, take a look here: https://kb.arlo.com/000062346/How-do-I-reset-my-Arlo-Essential-Video-Doorbell
