Re: doorbell.
When the doorbell rings I should immediately be shown who is at the door. It’s a camera that alerts me when a squirrel is on my doormat. Seeing who is at the door will inform whether or not I want to act. Fed Ex? Can put that off. Sons friend, go to the door. Etc… Black screen is maddening.

‘Press the button again to leave a message.’ When I’m talking to the person at the front door my ‘fancy doorbell’ is politely asking if the person wants to ‘leave a message’.
Can I turn the ‘Leave a Message’ function off? I don’t want it. If they know me they have my number. If they don’t, I do not need to hear from them 9.9 times out of ten. I’ll take my chances on the .1 times a message would be useful.

Can I stay logged on?
At 11:30 at night when a squirrel runs across my entryway and I get an alert, having to log back on seems unnecessary. Maybe an option where I can opt in to staying logged on for the week or month or something would be helpful.

Thx!

Hey myusernamehere,

Thanks for the feedback. You can turn off the leave a message feature. You will need to navigate to Settings > My Devices > Select the doorbell > Call Settings > Leave a message.

The app will stay logged on, the browser will not.

You could also consider disabling animal alerts.

Are you seeing this all the time?  If so, have you tried reducing the resolution?

What phone are you using?
