We received a notification that the doorbell was triggered. The doorbell rang and when we got to the door, no one was there. Classic ding dong dash. It was Saturday night. Well, the frightening part is that the speaker started squawking. When we viewed the video, you can see someone approaching and then all of a sudden they disappear before they get to the doorbell. Apparently, there is a product out there that jams the video and sends the doorbell into a tizzy? We have a base station and our other cameras did not seem to be affected.

I did. I see that the frame got fuzzy after the motion came in to play. It looks like the person might have moved out of frame or the device stopped detecting their motion. The devices detect motion best from left to right than moving straight toward the camera. It also looks like in the second video they may have hid behind your vehicle before coming back in to frame before slapping your doorbell. This might have caused a weird hiccup with the sensor just turning off/on again abruptly, coincidentally.
With that being said, it appears they might have damaged the doorbell the way they smacked it/pressed the button extremely hard. For your peace of mind, I can definetely have my team send you a replacement if you like. Please let me know and I will get this initiated.

It was while the person was walking up. Before the doorbell was pressed. Super creepy. You can see him doing something on his phone and then the video stops. He was probably 10 feet from the doorbell.

No. After we got the speaker to stop screeching the camera recorded normally again. If I could post the video and audio here I would.

There isn't anything wrong with the doorbell. That person did something to it.
Appreciate your attention to this.
