Doorbell notifications delayed - Wired video doorbell

Hello.  We have installed an Arlo wired video doorbell and are finding that there is a significant delay between person detection and receiving a notification.  By significant I mean up to 20 seconds.  The video feed shows the person at a good distance from the doorbell but it takes a long time for the notification to arrive.  Why?  

Also, we think that the delay has increased since we added an Arlo 5s pro camera.  We are using the smart hub.  Id it possible that adding the camera degraded the response time??

Does Arlo bother trying to resolve these issues ever? Ten minutes after the doorbell is pressed we get phone notifications on our phones. It’s completely useless.

While a slight delay is expected, 10 minutes is not normal behavior to receive a push notification after motion is triggered. Are notifications always this delayed or is the behavior intermittent?
