Can the video call from the doorbell be answered by Bluetooth devices such as car hands free?

Yes, using the app. However, that begs the question of distracted driving.

I was using the “car hands free” as a Bluetooth device example.... I didn’t mention anything about driving..... that could be dangerous.
I was actually thinking of Apple EarPods.
So, just to confirm - With the app open in the background but with the phone locked and in my pocket will the EarPods ring and can be answered with a double-tap in the usual way?
I’m sorry to dot i’s and cross t’s but I don’t want to waste time and money.

I can't speak for how to operate earbuds but I know that you can answer the doorbell call by using the phone interface. Unless someone with specific information can answer this, you'll just have to test.
