I would like to know of a suitable power adapter to use with the Arlo Wired Video Doorbell AVD1001. I require one that plugs into an existing power point. I am based in Australia so the U.S. versions are of no use. Apparently, the adapter required needs to have a voltage between 16V AC and 24 V AC and a 10-VA transformer. Where can I get one of these?

Thanks for your feedback on adapters. I have sourced an adapter that I hope will meet my needs. https://www.jaycar.com.au/16vac-1-25a-unregulated-power-supply-bareends/p/MP3021?pos=1&queryId=c3149.... Will let all know how I get on. Fingers crossed.

Ubiam,
You can find the power requirements here: https://kb.arlo.com/000062324/How-do-I-measure-the-voltage-of-my-doorbell-transformer
If you're choosing to use an AC adapter rather than a transformer, I encourage you to reach out to an electrician or visit a local retailer and inquire about the necessary specs that would be needed,

@Ubiam: I took a look at amazon.com.au when I saw your post, and didn't find any adapters that were spec'd to work with Australian power.
Note that the adapters are also transformers, so they are tailored to your mains voltage (unlike DC adapters, which typically will work anywhere in the world if you adapt the plug).
In addition to @JamesC's links, you should take a look at this one: https://kb.arlo.com/000062414/How-can-I-install-my-Arlo-Video-Doorbell-without-an-existing-doorbell-... Note it says 1 amp (not 10 VA).
This one might work with the AVD1001 (though it is only 500 ma) - https://www.dicksmith.com.au/da/buy/yeksuper-au-plug-power-supply-adapter-for-video-ring-doorbell-sk...
You might consider the AVD2001. It can be trickle-charged using an adapter (still needs low voltage AC), but it also has a removable battery that can be charged with a USB charger. The AVD2001 has different power requirements - it can handle 8-24 volts. Since it is trickle-charging, it shouldn't need the full 1 amp that is suggested in kb article I linked in.
@jguerdat uses an adapter - not sure what it's specs are or what doorbell model he is powering with it (though he is in the US, so his model won't work for you).

The one I used was 18V, 500mA which worked fine for me (slightly low in the current capability compared to Arlo specs). That was when only the wired doorbell was available - I now have the wireless ones instead so no transformer is needed.

So the same specs as the one in my link (and powering the AVD1001).
