I've lost all power to the doorbell. It does not work at all. I've checked the transformer and have power there. I have disconnected it from the power and re-connected it and nothing. It seems as though the doorbell itself broke. Not sure what to do at this point.

Have you measured power at the doorbell?
When you checked the transformer, did you check both the main power and the low voltage AC?
If you touch the two doorbell leads together at the doorbell (disconnecting it), does the chime ring?
