I have been using my video door bell for couple years now. But this problem started coming just recently. My chime would randomly start to go off without anyone clicking the button so one night I thought unpairing my device from my phone would fix it but that did not do anything. My chime started to go off again. So next morning I tired to connect the door bell with my phone using the QR code you get on the phone. However, when I click the button it just rings from my chime and would not pair it to the QR code or scan it for some reason. I am tired of trying multiple times of removing the whole device and connecting it again but nothing works. I really need help with this.

The chime randomly triggering could be due to a voltage issue with your transformer. Test the transformer and make sure it's meeting the required specs: https://kb.arlo.com/000062324/How-do-I-measure-the-voltage-of-my-doorbell-transformer

I have seen several requests for support regarding the same issue I'm having.  Was going to add cameras to my system too, but when I saw how many others were having the same problem getting their wired Video Doorbell to connect,.......having gone through all their Trouble Shooting steps online myself as well without success, and hearing Arlo's Live Technical Support is non-existent without much online support either; I think it may be best to just return and go with an entirely different system.  

Anyone else wish they had done the same after purchasing and trying to find support.....or disappointment with the lifetime of the Wired Doorbell?

Could you provide more details about what you are experiencing? At what point are you having an issue? What error messages are you seeing?
