Activity Zones with Modes/Rules

It would be a great addition to be able to add different activity zone settings for a Custom Mode. 

Use Case: During the day I have a small activity zone set that would only identify something if it came right up to my door. However, at night, I would like to change the activity zone in order to also pick up cars that drive by in case something is reported stolen. Currently I have to set the activity zones too wide and get way too many notifications during the day but would like to be able to see what happened at night.

Can this be done already?

Activity Zones cannot be assigned based on a custom mode at this time. This is a good idea for a possible future enhancement but isn't possible with the current feature set.

Alternatively, or preferably additionally, it would be nice to also have the smart notification settings available in the custom modes section in the screenshot below. Allowing for notifications only when people approach my door during the day but a mode to also detect all other notifications through the night.

This would also benefit from the addition of scheduling of scheduling through my suggestions as well. This would keep me from having to swap between modes.
