What about existing doorbell ? Arlo Essential Video Doorbell - Wire Free

Newbie Question:

After installing the Arlo Wire Free,  how do people know to use it, and not my old doorbell ?

The same question if it is wired ?

Does the Arlo  access my existing chime ?

Normally you'd remove your old doorbell.

If you leave the old one, then of course some people will choose the old one.

If you have a compatible mechanical or digital chime, then the doorbell will ring it.  You do need to remove the old doorbell (and connect the Arlo doorbell to that wiring) to get that to work.
