Just bought the subject system and having an issue setting up a friend (wife) on the app to arm/disarm the unit. It doesn't look like she is able to do that. Arlo's customer service sucks. you can't talk to a live person.

I'm tagging @JamesC to confirm, since the KB article might be incomplete.

 

If the doorbell camera isn't shared either, then check to see if the invite is accepted from your account. If it isn't, then have your wife click on the "create account" link in the invite on a PC.  That will open the browser to my.arlo.com.  From there, just log into the account (since it already exists).  FWIW, accepting the invite on a phone/tablet often doesn't work.

I saw that link too. She created an account and downloaded the app. It shows accepted on my phone. What good is her having the app if she can't arm/disarm the system if I'm not there. It's dumb.

I almost want to send back everything just because I can't talk to a live person.
