Doorbell does not record audio on motion detection?

Hello everyone,

 

We recently started using the Arlo wire free doorbell and i'm having some issues with it.

 

I've noticed that the doorbell does not record audio when motion is detected, only when someone actually rings the door and I answer on my phone.

 

Is this intended? I assumed it would record audio when it detects motion aswell, not just when someone actually rings the doorbell. 

 

I've looked through all the settings and everything audio related seems to be on. I've also restarted the doorbell through the webpage and app but this did nothing.

 

Any help regarding this would be much appreciated.

Do you have at least a trial subscription for the doorbell (Settings, Subscription)? Do you have an active mode that has a rule for the doorbell?
