Do i have to reinstall the avd1001 wirefree doorbell after connecting it to a wire?

Can you clarify the model? The AVD1001 is the wired doorbell, the AVD2001 is the wirefree.
Assuming you mean the AVD2001, I don't think you'll need to reinstall. It should just reconnect to the app.

Thanks for your reply. The doorbell is working fine, but even after 2 hours the battery stays at 77%. I expect the battery to charge. Am i to impatient?

Again, assuming it's the wireless doorbell, the battery takes ~6 hours to charge on a charger. The charge from the wiring/transformer will just trickle charge so it will be slow. You may want to charge the battery normally first and then let the transformer keep it charged.
