Delay on doorbell

Hello,

I have a new Doorbell with chime, with a Arlo Pro 2 set of cameras and base station. The Cameras work fine with a few seconds delay on notifications but the problem is the doorbell.

Whenever any one presses the doorbell there is a good 10seconds delay between the press and the chime ringing, and then theres a further 5 seconds at-least for the phone to start buzzing; so by the time I get the notification and run to the door - the person has gone! Its makes the doorbell pointless.

Any ideas?

It could be a signal strength/quality issue for the doorbell. Is the doorbell connected to your base or to your WiFi? If you bring the doorbell inside for testing does it work properly?
