2 days ago our Arlo started sending random calls to our phones, almost every 15 minutes. Nobody was pushing the button. I removed de battery, charged it and replaced it. The random calls stopped, but now we don;t get any calls to our smartphones or chime anymore. The camera and detection work fine, we get a notification in the app if there is movement but we don;t get any signal when some one is actually ringing the doorbell anymore.

Any help would be great.

Check your subscription - if the trial subscription has expired, cloud recordings won't happen. I don't know if the lack of a sub would also cause the lack of notification when the doorbell is pressed but it's possible.

I suggest you first check if the doorbell is in silent mode.

You can check the subscription status also, by livestreaming the camera and then see if you can make a manual recording.  But you don't need a subscription to get a call from the doorbell on your phone when someone presses the button.

Maybe also restart your phone, and see if that makes any difference.

After you ruled out silent mode as a possibility, then you could remove the doorbell from the account, do a hardware reset, and then add it back.  The procedure for the hardware reset is found here:

Sub seems still to be active. But it is part of a verisure-sub, maybe that's whats causing the problem.

Thx for the tips.

- it is not in silent mode

- sub seems okay, part of Verisure-sub

- restart phone didnt work either

- can't remove bell through app, as it is part of Verisure-sub

- hardware reset also don't seem to work.

Camera en motion-detection is working fine, only problem is that there doesn't seem to be a follow up once we push the button to ring the bell. Troubles started a few days ago, when the doorbell seemed to go haywire and randomly starting to "ring" and push message to phone.

Any more thoughts or tips ?

Did you try removing the battery from the doorbell, and then reinserting it?  That will reboot the doorbell.
