it does not pop-up in my app (settings —> privacy) to permanently delete my account. Can somebody help me with it please?

When you get to the privacy center page, can you select the account label at the top to enter the account page that has the three options?

The third choice “delete account “ is typically hidden off page, scroll up to see if it appears.
