When I scan the QR Code on the back of my Brand New Arlo Chime 2 (bought 11-2023), it reads it but produces an address that leads to advertising for Arlo products
The name = arlo://s?12e72344a64845a8b1d1dfb42d863c16&ACG127KR001C5&AC2001
I am completely stuck, because there are no other info how to connect your Chime 2 to the Arlo Doorbell anywhere but under this QR Code. The actual scanning is not the issue!?!?
Have my Chime 2 the wrong QR Code attached to it?
Kind regards
Magnus Pelles

Are you going into "add device" in the app, and then scanning the QR code when the workflow prompts you?

Yes, I follow the instrux provided online and I get to the point where you are supposed to scan the QR code on the back of the Chime 2.
Like I said, it scans but the address that comes up leads to ARLO product advertising.
I do not know what I am supposed to receive but it cannot be this.

Thanks jguerdat,
for taking time to try to solve and answer my queriers.
I have solved the problem. Following the instructions in the manual; when I got to the "Scan the QR code on the back of the Chime 2" I scanned it with a scanner on my phone. What I did not realize was that the ARLO manual, at this point, is actually a scanner. This fact is nowhere described therefore using a normal QR-scanner leads you to a Google website whereas scanning with the manual's screen leads immediately to the correct action.
Having done so my Chime 2 was functioning within seconds.
Mentioning in the manual with what to scan the QR-code would have saved me three days stress.
The only reason I found out was I saw a video - one of the existing thousands of up-to-date or not-up-to-date videos existing on the net - on installing the Chime 2. The actual moment when the person scanned was over in a tenths of a second without any mention of scanning within the manual.
Anyway thanks!
