Hi, I just received the 2nd generation doorbell. It seems it can be connected to an external power source. Is it correct that it needs to be 8-24 volts AC? Any idea what device I can use??
On all the screen info on Internet, including the Arlo website, the images are squared. On my video I have a fish eye output. Handy commercial tricks?? Thanks for a usefull answer

The doorbell is designed to handle the usual voltage to traditional doorbells - low voltage AC (8-24 volts). If you have existing wiring at the door, then either look for the transformer, and check the rating - or check it the voltage with a meter.
If you do not have existing wiring, then you can look for a compatible plug-in transformer. There are several options (many don't specifically mention Arlo). One is
Note this is not a recommendation, just a pointer to one of several transformers.
