Homekit is working now!! I just bought a Video Doorbell 2k and installed it today - paired it with an Arlo Base Hub that I already use for other cameras. As I chose the pair with Base Hub option instead of wifi, it initially connected via wifi to do a firmware update after which the Arlo app asked me to reset the doorbell and reinstall with the Arlo Base Hub option. Once done, I went to Apple Home App and I am able to see the doorbell there 🙂

Interesting. It has not shown up in Apple Home for me yet. Mine is connected through a base station. @JamesC, should the doorbells work with HomeKit now?

The Base Station/SmartHub firmware that includes the update for Home integration is currently in slow rollout. This means it may not be available yet for your system but once your Base Station/SmartHub receives the latest firmware update, you can then add your doorbell to Apple Home. For latest firmware versions, see here: https://community.arlo.com/t5/Firmware-Release-Notes/Arlo-Firmware-Release-Table/m-p/1920885#M791

@JamesC, thanks for the reply. Interestingly, one of my doorbells showed up in the home app today, but the other one hasn’t yet.

The doorbell now shows up in the home app, however the video resolution has been drastically reduced. When you go to the video settings within the Arlo app it says “connecting your base station to homekit limits the video resolution to 1536sq”. Will this be fixed?

Not sure it can be - I think this is an Apple restriction.

Thank you for the update, the video doorbell is now visible under the devices on my Apple HomeKit. This is a major improvement as I am able to carry out much needed additional HomeKit automations.
