My 2nd Gen doorbell has speaker/mic turned on. I can hear/send audio in the live DEVICE feed so I know that is working. When I go to ROUTINES to setup a rule, I can set a rule for video, but no audio option is shown. What am I missing?

Are you setting up a rule in one of the three modes? Or are you doing this in a schedule or geofencing automation?
If you go into the smart detections section of the app, is "all audio" detection turned on?

Im using Arlo Secure: Im attempting to set up a rule in Arm Away under Routines. When I go into "smart notifications" there is no "Audio Detection" displayed. I do have Microphone & Speaker turned ON under DEVICE -> Audio settings (I have 2 other Arlo camera's and the Audio Detection Rule is displayed and works ok there).

While I don't have a Gen. 2 doorbell installed, my AVD2001 (Gen. 1) wireless doorbell doesn't have any setting for audio detection. I suspect the Gen. 2 one would be the same.

thanks for the reply. It seems rather odd the doorbell does NOT have "audio detection".

My neighbors have Ring and Blink and after 1month of comparing Arlo, I am disappointed with Arlo. The User Interface is not simple & as easy as what my neighbors have. Even after getting the settings dialed in, the battery life on the Pro5S2k is disappointingly short, and now I find the doorbell doesn't have same Audio detect feature as camera. I appreciate the support community helping me with answers, I tried for several days to get an answer from Arlo support with no luck.
thanks again!
