Hi there, I have purchased a new Arlo XL Rechargeable Battery and Housing for my Arlo Ultra. It shows that the battery is charging. but it isnt' increasing in the charge. It is stuck on 26%. I have restarted and removed it from the hub, but nothing is working to make the charge increase. Any advice on this issue would be grateful.

Try wiping the contacts on both the camera and cable to see if that helps. As you place the connector onto the camera, try wiggling it.

Hi, thanks for the reply. I had done that. I've done it again this morning. It started at 26% and it's been on charge for around 20 hours now and it's just ticked over onto 59%. So I am assuming there is something wrong with the actual battery.
The charge symbol has always been lit up, so it's seeing the battery and it thinks it's charging, just very, very slowly. I'm concerned that the solar panel I use to keep it charged will not have enough grunt to keep it topped up. I haven't seen any other posts on the XL battery, so there doesn't seem to be much information unfortunately.

WHat charger are you using? The official Arlo one or a 3rd party one?

I'm just using the one that came with the original Arlo. I managed to get it up to about 90% over about 4 days. Then I. put it up and connected it to the Arlo solar panel. It's been sitting around 50%. It does charge, but very, very slowly. I have ordered a new charger, so see if that works. Given the solar panel isn't charging as fast as fast as my other Arlo, I"m assuming it won't help. I think something must be wrong with the battery or the contact on the camera.
