Why does my arlo ultra stop push notifications, I have to restart my android phone to make push notifications work again

I'd start by reinstalling the app to see if that helps.

Reinstalled app many times. The push notifications will work hit and miss during the day, but at
night and early morning won't work.

Make sure your modes have rules that include sending notifications. Is it always certain cameras or all of them? Are you using activity zones and/or Smart Notifications?

I have no routines involved. This happens on all 5 cameras and I have Smart notifications. Everything is set
up like it should be, when it works it works great. I have to restart my phone constantly and then it will work
fine for half a day then back to my problem.

That sounds like it's a phone issue, not an Arlo one. Make sure DND (do not disturb) isn't set but it's possible a phone reset may be needed. Can you try on a different device to see if the same thing happens?

DND is off. My friend has an Iphone, I have a new Samsung S25 phone and she has
the same issue. The point of this camera system is to hear the push notifications
when something is going on, not like this. It will record every time but won't let you know
with the push notification.

At this point it would be best to use the app to go to Settings, Support to see what official support may offer. To speak to them you need a subscription of any sort.

I pay $19.99 per month for this Arlo subscription. I have called at least 20 in the last two months,
always escalating the problem with no results. When it works it's great but no otherwise.

Enable push notifications for the Arlo Secure App on your Android device.

- Unmute Mute Notifications:
- Launch the Arlo Secure App.
- Tap Settings.
- Tap Mute Notifications.
- Tap Unmute.
- Enable Push Notifications in your Arlo device's modes and rules.
