Updated iPhone to XS and now no picture notification on my Apple Watch.

I have just recently upgraded to a iPhone XS from a 6s. I was receiving a 'snapshot' notification along with the standard notification on my watch but since the upgrade I have only received the text version.

The 'snapshot' was very convenientand a quick look for verification was great as I didn't have to go to my phone.

Any reason for the glitch?

For some strange reason it just started working again.

Has anyone else had the same issue?
