Manual recording is done during live view - is that what you're referring to? Have you rebooted the camera and force closed the app and re-opened it?

Why can’t I record video or pictures using my Ultra Cameras?  I have two original Arlo cameras  that I’m using with my Arlo Ultra Smart Hub and Arlo Ultras that allow manual video or pictures. What’s the difference????

Check your subscriptions to make sure the camera is still participating in your Arlo Smart plan. You can do this by logging in to your Alro account and navigating to Settings > Subscription > Manage Cameras

Thanks! That worked..I had a subscription but hadn’t assigned cameras. Another question...On the computer it requires Flash Player to view cameras live...I didn’t know anyone still used

Still is but it will be discontinued at end of year so arlo will have to go to something else.
